Time:03/30(Tue.)14:00

Abstract:

Antarctica has been a mystery to most people for hundreds of years. Up until 200 years ago, no one knew what the southernmost part of the earth looks like. The harsh environment there makes the continent hard to reach and human lives are always on the line trying to survive there, even to this day. In this talk, I will take you onto a that random walk with me, show you and hopefully have you feel what Antarctica is like and how it is like to live there. It takes tremendous efforts to bring scientific activities there. Scientists love the Ice and so do I. Let’s take the walk. 468_d8d00184.jpg
