Abstract：
Natural radioisotopes have long been used as tracers in oceanography. However, the molecular basis for many of the tracer applications to marine particle cycling remains poorly understood, especially the interactions and binding relationships between radionuclides and marine organic matter. Hence, understanding the mechanisms that control the sorption of radionuclides onto particles is important in the assessment of the limitations of tracer applications.
